- The next Community Advisory Panel meeting will be held at 7 o'clock on Wed 3rd March at the Somerford Grove Communuty Hall. This meeting is open to the public and gives residents the opportunity to meet local police and influence the focus of their work in the community over the following 2 months.
- Hackney Council is reviewing its parking policies .We can fill in an online survey on www.hackney.gov.uk/pep or ring 020 8356 8877 to get a copy. I haven't looked at it yet but if you feel that residents' parking is a good thing in Stoke Newington it would be important to state that.

ReplyDeleteJust want to let people know that this afternoon around 2pm my elderly father was robbed in his home after being followed home from Nat West bank where he withdrew money and walked back home to Darville road where as soon as he went inside someone knocked on the door which he opened to see who it was, two men in their 40s pushed the door open knocking him down and grabbed the envelope of cash and ran off. Also the house opposite was broken into last week so please be extra vigilant of your immediate surrounding and when leaving the bank, not sure if anything will come from the police, not sure how to proceed with that. Just wanted to warn others.
It's really upsetting to hear stories like this! I hope you're Dad is OK and thanks for alerting us!
