“is it an octopus?” is an idea that came about from parents of 'Grasshoppers in the Park' community nursery. Whilst many parents involved in the nursery are creative professionals, the purpose of making something artistic together with our children for public display, is not intended as a showcase of artistic talent, but as a statement about the value of creativity through which the strong emotional bonds with our children are made.
